MUSICAL THEATRE AND SINGING CLASSES
MUSICAL THEATRE
We have three Saturday classes:
INTRODUCTION TO MUSICAL THEATRE
for children from 7-8 years.
JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE
for children from 9 - 12 years.
SENIOR MUSICAL THEATRE
for students from 12 - 17 years
Our Musical Theatre training offers something exciting for every type of performer - from the shy to the gifted performer and from the ballerina to the method actor!
Classes are designed to, not only enhance and broaden every student's experience of the performing arts, but also to perfect their skills, build confidence, work with others collaboratively and, above all, have a thoroughly enjoyable time!
SINGING
Our classes encourage all students to sing as part of a group and be confident in their own voice.
We endeavour to develop a sound vocal technique and individual vocal style as well as mastering and understanding lyrics, melodies and harmonies.
GIFTED AND TALENTED
Opportunities are available for children and students - who demonstrate the potential, resilience and dedication for performing - to be taught audition techniques and audition for West End shows and other professional engagements. We pride ourselves on the many students who have ventured into professional theatre and achieved huge success!
Musical Theatre classes take place on Saturday mornings and primarily focus on singing with group drama. The content of the classes is strongly linked to the world of theatre and covers aspects such as:
For those with more confidence, there are plenty of occasions when they are able to show off their talents as a soloist, as we have many performance events and holiday workshops - both in our own studio theatre and further afield.
Our students are extremely lucky to benefit from being taught by highly qualified teachers - alongside frequent guest classes given by professionals from the West End, film and TV.
