OUR FACILITIES

We are so lucky to have our own private facilities at the Latton Bush Centre, Harlow which include a Reception Area, changing rooms, storage areas, Tea Room, The Ballet Barre and parking.

We hold 'performance events' in our studios - including examinations, workshops, mini-shows and demonstration classes. 

THE BALLET BARRE

The Ballet Barre is open on a Saturday morning and provides all of our uniform and dancewear needs! Our stockists are very well known in the dance world and we sell all kinds of Freeds shoes - including pointe, tap, jazz, ballet and character shoes - what we don't have in stock - we can order!

THE TEA ROOM

We have an extremely pleasant tea room which serves light snacks, coffees, teas and drinks. 

We positively encourage the parents of younger children especially to, 'wait, have a chat and a coffee' and our adult classes love to get together  - either before or after class for a quick socialise too!

From very young, our students are expected to be independent, inclusive, to make friends with everybody and support and respect one another.

Our school has a 'family feel' about it and our students make friends for life - from 6 years old to 66 and beyond!

Our school is a wonderful place to be

- and has been for over 53 years!

We are fortunate to enjoy the benefits of two enormous studios. Each one is equipped with sound equipment, specialist Harlequin dance flooring, ballet barres and mirrors.

STUDIO THEATRE

Very quickly, we can transform our space into a Studio Theatre with seating, lighting and sound - and the results are spectacular!

SATURDAYS

Saturdays are the best day of the week at The Brenda Taylor School!

We have up to 20 classes - in all genres - taking place throughout the day and our students love to sit in our tea room and socialise between classes - eating toast, laughing and generally being very loud and having fun!

Our older students lead by example - caring and looking out for the younger children and including them.

VISITS

We often have trips and visits - either to see a ballet at The Royal Opera House, to see our own 'stars' from the school appear in the West End, and even 'Afternoon Tea' for our adults!
